Deanne Chevannes Adams
Deanne Chevannes has worked for over 28 years with a variety of companies that provide technology solutions to the philanthropic community including MicroEdge, Blackbaud, Fluxx, and Foundant. During her tenure with these organizations, Ms. Chevannes worked in senior management capacities and led strategic business initiatives to expand products and services to the giving community. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about the requirements needed for effective grant-making, the technology required to support efficient business practices, and understands the partnerships that are necessary to achieve vital outcomes. Ms. Chevannes is currently a strategic consultant to the non-profit community. As a skilled strategist, she leads organizations in business transformations, organization assessments, developing digital strategies, and strategic planning. Ms. Chevannes uses her strategic thinking skills to help clients synthesize information from wide-ranging sources, reframe problems while uncovering root causes to find refreshing, creative, and efficient solutions. She has worked with foundations such as Ford, Kresge, and Ruth Mott Foundation to overhaul their processes efficiently and is now working with Amandla to leverage her expertise and bring these strategies to non-profits in the African-American community.
